E-commerce website Flipkart is once again launching smartphone selling in India. A banner related to this has been given on the company’s official app. According to this, users can order in the mobile category. Their delivery will start after 20 April. Till now, all the companies were providing only the goods needed by the people. But the Indian government had also allowed smartphone selling. The company has written in this banner that orders have started on mobile categories in every city of the country except West Bengal and Karnataka.
According to the mobile category banner, orders for smartphones are being accepted and will be delivered from April 20. We found this banner only on the company’s app. But orders have already started for smartphones on both the website and the app. The phones of Oppo, Vivo, Samsung, Apple, and Xiaomi are listed here. The company says that the service has not been resumed for West Bengal and Karnataka at present.
The Government of India had issued guidelines that through Amazon and Flipkart, users will be able to purchase products like smartphones, refrigerators, and laptops from April 20 onwards. However, the benefits of this government service will not be extended to every sector. This facility has completely excluded areas with hotspots and red zones. Products will be delivered in other areas except in such areas. This includes movement of trucks and e-commerce vehicles for delivery.
However, the new guidelines also state that vehicles going with essential goods for hotspots and red zone areas will be allowed. Let me tell you that recently the lockdown has been extended till May 3 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
